![]() ![]() The meat was tender and served as a great way to start off the dinner. We began our meal with an order of chicken satay (marinated chicken breast on skewers), which came with peanut sauce and cucumber sauce on the side. But enough about the boring stuff - let's cut to the good eats! The staff was friendly when seating us, and the service was very respectable. The inside of the restaurant is rather elegant, but it's not an issue if you go there in casual attire. Lengthy version: This restaurant caught my eye when I first moved up here, and I was fortunate enough to try it out as well as treating family to the delicious food served at Bai Tong. Short version: This place has some bomb Thai food, so be sure to check it out - I recommend the phad sei-iew with beef! The other stuff is super yummy, but I often find it a little heavy on the starch right after having a starchy meal :) ![]() I've tried several desserts here, and I think the best are the coconut ice cream, and the mango with sticky rice. I find this place both tasty and authentic. I have to say, when I'm in the mood for curry, I have a hard time deciding between the Pa-Nang and the Mas-Sa-Man, as both truly hit the spot! Of course, there's other standard Thai fare like the Pad Thai, Swimming Rama (different to what I've had in Thailand, where it resembles a soup more than a stew), Cashew Nut Chicken (good, although I'm not crazy about the cashews) Perhaps my most frequent go-to is the Pa-Nang Curry with chicken (awesome stew, pair it with your choice of rice for the best experience!) or the Pad See Iew (a stir-fried noodle triumph!). There's a good-sized parking lot shared with the other businesses in the mini-mall, and the restaurant lobby has some seating for patrons and food delivery workers. The decoration looks pretty authentic Thai, including a portrait of the much beloved king, the late Rama 9. The menu is very similar to their Seattle branch, so no surprises here. I've been to this place a couple of times with coworkers. ![]()
